Woooow just when I thought I was having late nights in summer, then winter creeps up and one is forced to actually sleep early,because heaters are so bad these days they actually make one sick.
Yep the winter season is here and layers and layers of clothing and huge gym bags are coming alive. I suck in winter,not sure what to wear,what to pack in my gym bag and also cheating on my eating habits. This goes to all the gym junkies,we are in this together. My worst nightmares-margarine on toast,jam and peanut butter,and not on any bread,the white yummy just got baked type of bread. Went back to old school tendencies of wanting to just eat rice and tinned fish,I want to have cheeserolls and just devour them in the car on my way to work. Yes its cold and we tend to deviate from our healthy lifestyle.
So this is the tip-talk to yourself,imagine how hard it will be to get back to your summer shape and also how cold it is that you sometimes don't want to wake up to go train,and the layers that you have to stuff in your tog bag. So many healthy dishes that we can make for winter. Have your normal oats in the morning,snack in between with soup,peanut butter snack always comes in handy if you haven't had your protein,rooibos tea or chai tea in between meals.
Make fun with your meals at home while you are still keeping it real with the healthy alternative. I started mine today,got carried away now its back to normal. Made soup that I copied from my mom-boiled meat,carrots,lentils,sugar beans, mixed vegetables,potatoes. Yummm and it will last me for the whole week..
And always remember its not how many times you train-its what you put in that adds on to the weight..
